Park House Farm Camping and Glamping, near the village of Llawhaden, is specially situated to make the most of the Pembrokeshire countryside. Here are some ideas of things to do on your holiday, with a great range of activities suitable for whatever the weather may bring.

 

Llawhaden village - Llawhaden is steeped in history, as many of the villages in Pembrokeshire are. There is a castle in the village, as well as the ruins of a Bishop’s palace. Have a wander about and immerse yourself in rural Welsh history!

 

Narberth - The local market town, Narberth has a range of independent shops, with lots of local produce and delicacies.

 

Canaston Woods - a short drive away, Canaston woods is perfect for a stroll out in the forest, with a choice of walking tracks to choose from.

 

Beaches - If nothing else, Pembrokeshire is well-known for its world-class beaches. Fortunately, the likes of Saundersfoot and Tenby, with their blue-flag grade beach's are not far away. Amroth is also nearby, perfect for having a fish and chip supper followed by a walk along the sand. At low tide, an ancient petrified forest reveals itself, breaking the surface of the sand amidst the surf.

 

St.Bride’s Bay - Out on the western reaches of the Pembrokeshire coastline, and in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, is St.Bride’s Bay. Stretching North to South, encompassing several small seaside towns and villages, and several long beaches, St.Bride’s Bay has a great deal to offer anyone with an interest in the wild outdoors. With surf hire at Newgale, and shops and eateries in the likes of Broad Haven, there is something to cater for all tastes. Not to mention the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, with spectacular scenery and bustling wildlife.

 

Folly Farm and Clerkenhill Adventure Farm - Fun for all the family, no matter the weather, Folly Farm has some great attractions and a plethora of (many exotic) animals in its zoo! Folly Farm has an old-school funfair, among many other activities to keep the entire family entertained. Clerkenhill Adventure Farm is another great day out for the family, with woodland trails, crazy golf, frisbee golf and indoor soft play area. Around the farm are an assortment of animals, including pigs, goats, shetland ponies, donkeys, cows and poultry. There’s something for everyone here, from the wild outdoors to fun and games.
